Best Answer

the average age of a pilot is 16 or 18

(This can NOT be true, especially if the Fighter Pilot is in the U.S./Australian military. I know for a fact you must have a 4 year bachelors degree, pass officer training, and pass the 54 week pilot training. In total, that means at least 5 years, some odd months to officially be a pilot. The military doesn't even let you sign until you are 17/18.

I think it's safe to say this answer has not yet been answered.)

Who is Capt Lynn Patricia Hanna RCAF and did she fly for the USAF?

Yes she did! She was recruited from the RCAF to the USAF. I couldn't find a specific date for this. Capt Hanna was born March 17, 1955 deceased November 19, 2009 at the age of 55. She was a captain in the Canadian Air Force. She was a Canadian who was described as being part German and a whole lot of Irish in her. She left the RCAF and joined the USAF as a pilot. Not just a pilot, but a jet pilot. She was the first woman to fly a Russian Mig 15 Fighter Jet
