You fly them, for transporting property or people, or for combat or leisure.
Transporting cargo, transporting people, recreation, fire fighting, surveying land and water, construction, military
Recreational flying refers to flying an aircraft for a use that is not transporting people or cargo.
Any aircraft experiencing an emergency situation such as this takes priority over other aircraft. As soon as a controller becomes aware of the situation the immediate priority will be to ensure that any aircraft below the one suffering the decompression are moved out of the area so as to facilitate emergency descent. Depending on traffic levels this may be by giving specific instructions to specific aircraft, or a more general call to all aircraft in the area to vacate the area. The crew of the aircraft with the emergency will be following their own procedures, so the air traffic controller would generally not try to give any instructions to this aircraft until the crew advise that they can accept them. However the controller would pass any information that was considered appropriate, for example if there was high ground in the area that may affect the emergency descent. Further actions would then depend on the particular circumstances and would depend on the wishes of the pilot of the aircraft, but a diversion to the nearest suitable aerodrome would be likely.
Yes. A person with Marfan syndrome should have no problem flying in a commercial aircraft. Flights in an unpressurized aircraft are not recommended though, because the changes in altitude can cause a collapsed lung (pneumothorax), a particular risk for people with Marfan syndrome.
They are hats similar to those worn by early biplane pilots and crew of military aircraft (e.g. bombers) up through WW2 to protects their head (especially ears and eyes) from the wind and cold of open cockpit and unpressurized closed cockpit aircraft.
A bizjet is a relatively small jet aircraft designed for transporting groups of businesspeople or wealthy individuals.
An airliner is an airplane, usually large, used for transporting passengers and cargo. Such aircraft are operated by airlines.
yes you can. but i can't advise it. since an aircraft is a pressurized vessel. you will get explosive decompression, this can be EXTREMELY dangerous, and can result in the plane going down.
By transporting goods/materials/food by a massive continuous aircraft fleet.
In short they don't. Small light unpressurised aircraft fly relatively low, so the air pressure is acceptable. Large aircraft (heavy jets etc) use a pressurised hull, air is pumped into the cabin which is kept at an acceptable density. This is why you hear about explosive decompression, and why aircraft flying at high altitude have oxygen masks which drop from the cabin roof for each passenger in the event of decompression. Without them you would die of oxygen starvation.
Aircraft have a maximum weight they can lift for a given altitude, so if they are on the limit of their weight allowance, they will be described as 'heavy'. However this is not to be confused with a heavy lift capacity, which is a large aircraft that can haul large and heavy items, such aircraft are generally used by the military for transporting and rapidly deploying such items as Tanks.
