Please see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panamax
The Panama Canal's length is 89,760 yards.
No. The Panama Canal passes through Panama.
Panama lol. Isn't that kind of obvious.
Nicaragua. I found that out in my report for the Panama Canal. =D
Panama
Panama
no it cuts through Panama
Panama is the only country the canal passes through. There was initially interest (a bit of which remains to this day) of building the canal through Nicaragua - there are three proposals being 'floated' around in Nicaragua currently to build a new trans-oceanic passing, but the Panama Canal only goes through Panama.
Panama! :)
Obviously.
Panama just completed a major upgrade to the Panama Canal. The 1,200-foot-long COSCO Development was the largest ship to go through the canal. Disney Cruise Line's Disney Wonderis now able to go through the canal.
