this is what the original answer was.. i feel the need to change it.. first, if you feel that way (whoever wrote that) DONT GET A TATTOO, and leave the rest of us alone! you have no right to judge.
second, if you haven't read the book johnathan livingston seagull, you should.. that book is the reason i want a tattoo of a seagull with the word freedom across its back.
moral of the story, don't judge, and no tattoo is pointless.. not even one of a seagull.you are right...do not judge....the Jonathan livingston seagull book is a very enlightening book and meant a lot to me and my grandmother. she passed it down to me when i was in my early teens. i am now 25 years old and she passed away last october breaking my heart! i want to get the tattoo of the Jonathan livingston seagull in remembrance of her. she loved birds and even collected porcelain birds when she was younger. this is my way of having her spirit with me always. so to all of you that judge people with tattoos...maybe you should stop and think that it is meaningful art that we carry with us everywhere we go. if only you can take your mona Lisa with you wherever you go...lol so to all you haters and non-believers get a life and stop worrying about everyone elses. let us live our life and our body the way we want to.
