if you mean 'Why do people self injure/harm'.. then it is usually because they find it brings them releif.. when a person hurts themself it usually calms them down and can also succesfully take their mind off of their phsycological pain by experiencing physical pain (most people find physical pain easier to deal with the phsycological pain so after hurting themself they feel happier).. i hope my answer helped.. if it didnt then there are plenty of other explanations as to why people self injure on Google :) x
