Obviously taken from "The Wizard of Oz", this saying has interesting implications.
To answer this question, we should first clarify the components. "Fun and Games" is pretty easy. It can be anything that brings out the competitve spirit in us. It could actually be fun and games, mischievous deeds, or it could be interpreted in a way to reflect a company's culture and way of doing business.
Secondly, monkeys represent trouble. You've heard the saying "He's a monkey on his back". Flying monkeys are even worse as you cannot run away from them and they also have the power to actually drag you away from the fun - i.e. make you accountable. The flying monkeys powerfully represent the price paid for crossing the line. For me personally, I use this saying to reflect the way my company does business. We walk the line of dishonesty, having a laugh at the way our sales staff overcome objections by re-phrasing and outright lying. It's all funs and games until the customer calls us on it (flying monkeys). We then get serious for about two minutes as ethics are discussed and then we're back to fun and games.
