The message of Psalm 66 1-6, is to urge us to praise the Lord in shouting, singing and speaking. It reminds us the famous story about how God rescue the Israelite by parting the red sea. He saved the Israelites then and He continues to saveHis people today. In every circumstance of our life, in sorrow or pain, in bliss or happiness, let us always thank God and praise Him. God is present in all our situations.
I like the first verse.
He loved Psalm 19 and said it was his favorite Psalm.

Psalm 34 is classified as a psalm of thanksgiving and praise. It is also known as an acrostic psalm, where each verse begins with a successive letter of the Hebrew alphabet.

The middle chapter is Psalm 118.
I take it into perspective as the verse saying to put God first.
Elvis did not ascribe to a favorite Bible verse, however, he noted Psalm 11:1 and Psalm 43:3 in his personal Bible. The lyrics of two of his recorded songs also quoted the text of the 23rd Psalm.
