Except for special "war nickels" minted from late 1942 to 1945, all US nickels are made of an alloy of 25% nickel and 75% copper.

However your coin could not be a Liberty Head nickel. They were minted from 1883 to 1912. A 1941 nickel would be a Jefferson nickel.
