The current I in a circuit is directly proportional to the voltage E and inversely

proportional to the resistance R.

Answer

Ohm's Law states that the ratio of voltage to current is a constant and it only applies to some materials. It does not mention resistance, and it certainly doesn't say that current is inversely-proportional to resistance!
