RAM is the Random Access Memory. The most primary role of RAM is to copy the operating system in to itself and then load the Operating System so that you can work. Also when you install any software, it requires some minimum amount of memory, else it will deny to install. For DOS, 16 MB of RAM is sufficientFor Windows 98, Minimum RAM requirement is 32 MBFor Windows XP, Minimum RAM requirement is 64 MBFor Windows Vista, Minimum RAM requirement is 512 MB
Use software display mode, and the smallest resolution.
It depends on a type of microprocessor. The simplest microprocessors had memory word only four bits wide and they could have 15 bites of memory. I suppose that it was enough for some simple calculators.

Supported minimum size in computer terms is referred to as the minimum system requirements or recommended system requirements. These tell the minimum amount of memory and free disk space as well as the minimum processor speed you need on your computer to run a particular software program.
thats not a resolution mate.
false Because RAM (system memory) is a very important requirement for programs to run. If you have less than the minimum requirements the program may run very slowly or not at all. The program also lists minimum hard-drive requirements because if you don't have enough space to install the program, it will not install or can run very slow.
I think I am answering this correctly. Memory is also called RAM or DDRAM, SDRAM etc. 512MB of memory is 512MB of memory. If you check the back of your software cases you will notice that it gives you the system minimum and recommended for memory required. Example windows 7 recommends 1GB of system memory minimum to install and run.
The memory is hardware
* decrease the resolution * add more memory to printer/computer * decrease the resolution * add more memory to printer/computer
The driver software will need to be installed to use your memory card software.
