Oleum or fuming sulfuric acid refers to a solution of various compositions of sulfur trioxide (SO3) in sulfuric acid (H2SO4), which can also be described by the formula H2SO4.xSO3 where x is defined as the molar free sulfur trioxide content.

As being a mixture it does not have a chemical structural formula.
