The Wedding Dance is a story in which people must fight for their true beliefs and never give up for what is truly right.
For me, the moral lesson of this story is that if you really love someone, you should stay and make him/her worthwhile. but the story shows that even it hurts you need to sacrifice your love in the name of your culture and tradition. I feel pity for Lumnay because she really wants to provide a child for Awiyao but seems like she is destined not to have one and because of that, she feels worthless, for me, no one deserves to feel that way. I also feel pity for Awiyao because he is obliged to have a son to follow in his footsteps but because of that responsibility and obligation to his tradition, she will let go of the person she really loves the most. Thanks. :)
If you truly love a person, you must let them take the road to happiness, no matter how painful it is.

The moral lesson in "Man on Earth" by Amador T. Daguio is the importance of respecting and protecting the environment. The story highlights the consequences of human greed and destruction on nature, and the need for individuals to be mindful of their impact on the Earth. By portraying the interconnectedness of humans and the environment, the story emphasizes the responsibility we have to preserve and care for the world around us.
