Due to illegal download sites, Peer-2-peer programs, and many other forms of untracable downloading there is no positive way to determine the "most downloaded song on the web." However when using traceable methods of downloading (iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster etc.) to date the most downloaded song on the web is a song in Japanese that translates roughly to "Beat the Dead with a Big Stick"
