I have to argue with this answer. Yes, the pill is generally more expensive than other methods but, I only pay $40 for a 3 month supply. It really all depends on your insurance and if you get it via pharmacy every month or if you get it 3 months at a time (I get mine through Medco by mail) and it is usually cheaper.
--- The pill, especially brands like Ortho TriCyclen Lo, YAZ and Yasmin. The add up more in the long term than any other method of Birth Control out there. The average sometimes even with insurance is $50-$60 per month.

CONDOMS
some antibiotics can be expensive depending on what it is
The most inexpensive birth control method is to not have sex at all! If this isn't an option for you, buy condoms from the store, which are inexpensive compared to the cost of a child.
You're misinformed. In the US, tubal ligation is the most common method of birth control.
The question makes no sense - of course birth control is the most effective method of birth control. And the best form of birth control is to use two methods at once. Either a hormonal form such as the pill, patch, or vaginal ring and a condom, which also prevents the spread of disease. Avoid quack methods like the "pull-out" method (pre-ejaculate does contain sperm even before the man ejaculates) and other wacky ideas.
Yes you can. That is how most people get pregnant when they are on birth control. You should always use a second birth control method, like condoms, at all times any way
No, they usually resort to a piece of torn bedcloth for their menstrual needs.
The pullout method is the most unreliable method of birth control. Pregnancy is always a possibility - be protected.
Unless the condom is made of stress, no. You must use a contraceptive such as a condom, or a birth control pill, patch, shot etc. The withdrawal method is by far not the most recommended use of birth control either.
The rythm method is a calendar based method of birth control. It is most commonly used by Catholics who follow the churches teaching that other methods of birth control are sinful. An example of the rhythym method would be if a woman had her menstrual cycle for 32 days, day 22 of the cycle would mean the infertile period would begin.
