well you could give him a bowl of water. or every time he starts panting excessively hose him off with a garden hose. it only cost so much for every liter. or if you are really on a tight budget you could use your bath water as a shower for him? thanks if i could help! Plenty of clean water goes without saying! If your dogs' area doesn't have any natural shade, figure out a way to provide some. Stretch an old blanket across a clothesline, attach a sheet to the fence (if you have one) - whatever you can do. If they seriously need relief from the heat, dampen a patch of ground with your garden hose as well as spraying the dogs. They might get muddy, but they'll be a lot cooler.
