The cultural center was Athens, and Athens lost power.
That is not known for sure, but is unlikely that it was done by DeValera. It is more likely to have been done by former colleagues who disagreed with Collins. He was shot in his own part of the country, so it is a likely explanation, but it is not known for certain. There are many theories.
The most likely explanation is that there was a City Councillor of that name around the time the street was named. Or it may be that the developer himself was called Hogan.
answerYes-God created world in 7 days and initiated 7th as day of worship. Other religions have changed day of worship but all cultures have 7-day week and and they don't know why: check it out.Another point of view.It can be fairly certainly assumed that stone age men didn't count seven days a week. The history of non christian cultures and their calendars can be traced and the most likely explanation is the moon phases. The moon completes its cycle in approximately 28 days, or 4 weeks. The seven-day week has its roots farther back than the book of Genesis. Early cultures were exposed to the night sky, and studied and wondered about it. There were seven celestial objects which moved in a way which clearly indicated they were not stars, and thus worked their way into the myths and legends of most early cultures. These objects are the sun and moon (from which we get Sunday and Monday, respectively) and the first five planets (not counting Earth): Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn.
The truth is that there could be thousands of ancient cultures from around the world, think about how many people there are on this world today, think of time and the cultures around the world as a gram cracker if you go back in time for each hundred of years or so you break that cracker in half and keep on doing that for as long as it takes until eventually you're left with some big clumps of cracker, and even more tiny crumbs of the cracker. The crumbs represent cultures that might have existed thousands of years ago but were lost in time, or possibly taken over by some over culture, but the bigger crumbs represent the cultures we do know of and might still exist. If you want a true answer then you should rephrase your question as how many known ancient cultures there are? then I think the answer would be around 50 or very likely more than.

Cultures that are collectivistic, such as those in East Asia, tend to be more accepting of ambiguity, uncertainty, and diversity. Additionally, cultures that value flexibility, adaptability, and open-mindedness are also more likely to tolerate these factors.
