I'd have to say chickens, the way they're treated and chucked around isdisgusting.
'They cram chickens into small cages, breed and drug them to grow so large that they can't even walk, and often break their wings and legs. At slaughter, the birds' throats are slit and they are dropped into tanks of scalding-hot water---often while they are still conscious.' - A quote from one of the websites.
I don't know the exact figures but I've seen enough documentries to know that they're widely abused.

Well.. consider the form of the question, I would have to disagree. I do agree though that the chicken is one of the animals the less well treated in the world..
But in the question, there is the word 'Neglect' which for me means forgotten, never thought of...
And with that meaning, I would have to say the most neglected animal is the Tamaraw, because up until i read this question and researched a little, I had never heard of this animal, and so to me, has been neglected.
The neglected animal probably symbolizes a real life responsibility or commitment that the dreamer has neglected. The dream is a nudge from the dreamer's subconscious mind to take care of the matter.
Because of their popularity and obtainability as pets, cats and dogs are the most commonly abused and neglected animals.
When you discipline an animal, sometimes that's all it takes is a harsh word or a tap. Abuse is when the animal is beaten for no reason, or ignored or neglected.
your ancestors.
too many. go to a website of any animal shelter, watch the number of animals rise every minute.
Well, lets just say every 10 seconds, one animal is abused, neglected, and/or taken to an animal shelter. It's pretty terrible.:-(
Yes, it is all over the earth. It is not as evident in some countries as it is in ours. Most people would call them strays, but somewhere along the line someone neglected them.
true
Well, in general, all animals are happy. Unless, of course, they are abused and neglected. Does that answer your question?
a animal cop is someone who puts animals before him or herself. they are qualified as police officers but they defend the abused animals and remove them from neglected homes and aggressive owners.
in an aspect of being an animal cop, its all about putting away the bad guys, and rescuing animals in need. Most of them don't do it for a lot of money, and it is not the most glamorous job (crawling in sewer drains after kittens) but its the sense of accomplishment upon saving an animals life.
