Your question sounds simple but in reality it's quite complex. Do you mean BB or pellet. Do you mean power or speed or is the size of the pellet important? C02 air guns usually top out at around 480 FPS (Feet Per Second) and that is using a .177 caliber. There are other power plants that are much faster and more powerful. An example is the PCP Airforce TalonP that fires a much larger .25 caliber pellet at 900FPS, but it's going to cost you about 4 to 5 times a good C02 air gun. Several C02 guns are available that cost around $150. But my favorite is the Crosman 2240 that fires a .22 caliber pellet 460 FPS and it cost under $60, It's also highly modifiable. I own one that has a $300 upgrade to it. In fact I own 4 different modified models. I suggest you go online to Pyramydair.com and look over the selection of air guns. They offer a way to compare different pistols to each other. (Just click on Compare after you click on a gun.)Remember BB's are not as accurate as pellets. They may be faster but are only accurate up to 15 feet. Pellets go way beyond that.

600 Nitro Express
Not even close. There are several more powerful handgun cartridges, not counting the single shot pistols that use rifle cartridges. While Dirty Harry may have proclaimed it to be "The most powerful handgun in the world"- it is not.
Factory, I'd probably say the 500 Magnum
You simply screw the CO2 into the back of the gun. Unless your CO2 should go elsewhere which is different to each gun.
Pellet guns are more powerful. They are stronger because they use a CO2 Gas, whil BB guns are spring-powered.
M2 can be hand held, but, that is the exception. MP5 in 10mm is along the lines of what you might be asking about.
Other than a toy gun or water gun, the next most powerful one a citizen can have without a permit is a "B.B. gun".
yes but it wont be as powerful
577 T Rex
star cannon
The magnum .55 is the most powerful, but some Desert Eagle has the highest calibre bullet.
No it won't fire, Co2 is the power source that power the gun.
