Either ZG tiger or Blue alliance Drangonhawk
The Raven Lord, the Deathcharger, the Swift Razzashi Raptor and the Swift Zulian Tiger all appear to be roughly equally rare.

They are some-what rare. They don't drop very easily, and they take some time to farm. So yes, They would be considered a rare drop in WoW. :)
Ultra rare ~ Extremely rare! If you have this Moshi Monster... WOW! Rare ~ Good, but it could be better! Normal ~ Nevermind!
it cant get low
You don't - you can get an undead mount or horsemanship.

To my knowledge, this is specific to the Night Elf cat mount, purchased from the mount vendor in Darnassus. If you still have one of the old Mount models (from classic WoW, before they changed them) you can trade in your old model mount for a new model. However, in Wrath mounts are now learned as spells, not kept in inventory - so it may no longer be possible to do this. Also, the mounts are considered "rare collectibles" so trading them in would be a waste since you can simply buy the new mounts with gold. Otherwise, mounts you have learned cannot be traded for new mounts.
This sounds like the tiger mount that drops from one of the Zul'Gurub raid boss.
There are 3 classes that get free epic mounts. Paladins, Warlocks, and Death Knights all get free mounts but have to pay for the training (except death knights, they get the training free). Another mount that could be considered epic is the Recruit-a-Friend mount (used to be the Zhevra mount, but is now the X-53 Touring Rocket). Other then that you can get the rare drops from ZG (Tiger or Raptor) and the headless horseman's mount, along with the Baron's mount from Strath.
watch chef gazpacho on tv or spin the wheel of wow every day for your chance to get rare food items!
