The movement of air on and out the lungs is called respiration.
The movement of air into the lungs is called inhalation (inspiration). The movement of air out of the lungs is called exhalation (expiration).
From the air drawn into the lungs by movement of the diaphragm

Inhalation and exhalation
Inhalation and exhalation
When your lungs move to bring in air and remove gases you are breathing.
It is called breathing. Breathing is the movement of the chest that brings air into the lungs and removes waste gases. The air entering the lungs contain oxygen. It passes from the lungs into the circulatory system because there is less oxygen in blood when it enters the lungs than in the cells of the lungs. gently tilt the casualty's head by applying downward pressure on the forehead while gently lifting the chin upward. This maneuver straightens the windpipe to allow air movement in and out of the lungs.
