Hello, I just bought a 1992 e350 with the Detroit 7.3 diesel, 207k on it. and I got over 18 mpg with quite a bit of stop and go. The guy I bought it from said it would get 20 - 22 mpg highway.
Highway at 60 mph about 15 mpg Highway at 75 mph about 12 mpg Highway pulling 15,000 lbs about 8 mpg
i am getting 26 MPG but with big tires and 75 on the freeway
Most small diesel engined cars will fit the bill. 1.3 Fiat panda should return about 70 mpg at those speeds.
My y reg 2001 75 td averages around 39 mpg on short say 10 mile runs on highland roads
You should get 75 to 100 miles per gallon.
yes
speculation is that it consumes about .75 ltr of diesel in an hour
89 MPG @ 50-55 mph rural winding (fairly flat, some hills) 89mpg (rider 6'2" 225 lbs) 76 MPG @ 65-75 mpg I-94 Jackson-Dexter MI commute
There are a number of reasons for this, but varies between petrol and diesel. Diesels dont like the cold. The diesel engines in the 75 are BMW common rail engines.
Diesel is a pretty expensive brand of jean. Generally you can expect to spend at least $75.

My 1994 Honda Accord LX (4 cyl.) gets 29 mpg when driven on the highway at around 65 mph. If I push it to 75 or 80 mpg it drops to about 25 mpg.
