There isn't one. The following excerpt from my site (http://projectneurophant.com/Contributors/Athiel/Higher_Dimensions.htm) should help clarify things.

A dimension is a direction of movement

0: A zero dimensional form is a mathematical point with no width, depth, breadth, etc. There is nowhere to move.

1: A one-dimensional form is a line. An occupant of this dimension can only move along this line and its position can be defined with only one piece of data.

2: A two dimensional form is a plane, like a Cartesian grid. There are now 2 directions in which an occupant can move and its position can be defined with only 2 pieces of data (x, y).

3: A three dimensional form is a solid and is representative of the universe we occupy. Not only can we move left-right (width), but towards-away (depth) and up-down (height) and any position can be defined by 3 pieces of data (x, y, z).

4: A four dimensional form is a hyper-solid. Since 4, and higher, dimensional forms cannot be adequately represented in our three dimensional space, we are limited to approximations, as in hyper-cubes, also called tesseracts, and others. In four-dimensional space, position can be determined by 4 points.

All of these dimensions are "created" (with the exception of 0 to 1) by rotating the original form by ninety degrees from its axis: A line rotated 90 degrees on its center point outlines a plane, a plane rotated 90 degrees on its center axis becomes a solid, and so on.

It should be understood that there's nothing "supernatural" about higher dimensions in and of themselves. However, there is a definite tendency to relegate so-called magical phenomenon to a higher dimension (or dimensions). While this is not necessarily invalid, there is no justification for it. There is also a tendency, implicitly or explicitly, to suppose that "higher" means "better". As far as we can tell, or rather; as far as we can test, these higher dimensions are mathematical constructs that may, or may not, exist. Even where String and M-Theory describe 10 or 11 dimensions respectively, they are necessary for the equations to work out. This could mean they exist, or could mean that these theories are wrong, or at the very least, in serious need of retooling.

At the very least, occultists and magicians have repeatedly latched on to the newest scientific discoveries only to have it blow up in their faces when the discoveries were either invalidated or massively redefined. This is just bad practice: Knock it off.

Is time a dimension?

We often hear that time is the (or a) fourth dimension and while this is true to an extent, it is not truly a spatial dimension. First, it will be noticed that in all of the spatial dimensions, time is already implicit. There has to be time for things to move/change, so even in a one-dimensional plane, there is already a sense of time. Second, where as all of the spatial dimensions have two directions that can be moved (i.e. left-right), time, as far as we can determine only allows for movement forward (also called time asymmetry). So at best, its a sort of half dimension. Perhaps as our understanding of time changes, time itself will graduate to full-fledged "dimension" status. But for now, no such luck. This doesn't mean we can't use the word dimension as it applies to time, but understand the greater context before you start shooting off assumptions.

The Multiverse

The multiverse is another one of those concepts that people like to latch on to, to justify general spookiness. To those who are not yet aware of the concept, the multiverse theory postulates that our universe is just one of many which co-exist simultaneously though independently of each other. However, there are a variety of theories as to what types of multiverse may actually exist. Max Tegmark, a cosmologist at MIT, has broken down these theories as follows:

Level 1: Beyond our cosmological horizon. This multiverse is comprised of multiple "universe bubbles" which all occupy a greater space.

Level 2: Universes with different physical constants. This is very similar to a level 1 multiverse, but allows for key physical constants (like the speed of light or strength of the electromagnetic force) to vary.

Level 3: The "Many Worlds" hypothesis. Any time there is an event with multiple outcomes (like the flipping of a coin or roll of a dice) each of the outcomes occurs and creates a new universe branch. So if you flip a coin in universe A and it lands heads-up, Universe B forms where the coin lands tails-up.

Level 4: Ultimate Ensemble. An amalgamation of the above

There is a possibility that interaction might occur between separate universes within the multiverse, however; this is another one of those situations where occultists and magicians are better off not trying to pull "evidence" from.

So while it is possible that some of what we perceive as being "supernatural" is the result of the interplay between higher dimensions and the 3.5 we know, there is nothing inherently supernatural about dimensions in and of themselves.

Mysticism is the most ambiguous of all human concepts. The mystical dimension is whatever you think it is. It is mysterious, undefined, magical, mythical, and mystifying.

What is relation between tourism and the fourth DIMENSION of architecture?

The fourth dimension of architecture is to evoke feeling; to spark the intellect; to create that "ah-ha!" moment. The architectural tourist has the opportunity to freshly intererpret the designers and client's message on each and every each visitthat is made, contextualizing the appreciation of an architectural form with the benefit of history and a changing settings of time and space. It's the mystical dimension as opposed to the utilitarian, in other words, the stuff that tourism is made of -Kevin
