Concentration & Extermination Camps.
Concentration camps are where the inmates were forced to do hard labour and were tortured.
Extermination camps, a.k.a death camps, where were the inmates were put straight to death by the gas chambers.
The first time Jews were put into concentration camps for being Jewish was after Kristalnacht, some were returned, some perished and others stayed in the system. In 1940 some were held in labour camps, but it was not really until 1941 that Jews were rounded up and put wholesale into concentration camps.
It indicated they were Jews as opposed to the being one of "undesirable" people put into the camps. It was also a source of humiliation for them. The Nazis were big on that.
They were turned over to the Nazis and killed or put in concentration camps
The Nazis invaded other countries and then took the Jews and put them in cattle cars (train) and shipped them to the camps
They put Jews in camps where they where sent to die, just because they were Jewish.
The Nazis for some reason thought of themselves as a super race thinking all others inferier especialy the Jews they would put them in death camps and kill them by the thousands.
Murder, torture, rape (in rare cases), inhumane treatment, experimentation without permission.
The first thing the Nazis did to the Jews was put them in cincentration camps to be re-educated, this started as soon as Hitler became chancellor and was given the Enabling act in 1933.
Jewish consintration camps were camps that the Nazis put Jews. They put them there to work and hardly ever gave them food. When the Jews there were no longer needed they would be sent to the gas chambers or huge fireplaces, and be killed. Hitler was the one in charge, he wanted power and that was a way to get it.
Sadly, they were. They were either just murdered, or put into concentration camps with other Jews and people who were "different" according to the Nazis/Hitler. It was terrible.
It was very hard and many Jews were put into Concentration Camps by Nazis and many people were killed.
The Nazis rounded up "undesirables" (Jews, homosexuals, gypsies, etc.) and put then in concentration camps, killing 6m Jews and about 5m others.
