The idea that the earth's crust is broken into plates that move on top of the mantle is known as the theory of plate tectonics.Magma is the name given to molten rock below the Earth's surface.
boundaries where plates are moving away from each other are called constructive plate boundaries. These boundaries cause very minor volcanoes and are given their name because they make new land in where the lava solidifies in the gap between the plates. this usually occurs under the sea.
It result from the moving of rock deep under the ground. This movement is caused by the rubbing of one plate into another. The plates have jagged edges, and so when they rub against each other, they get stuck. Since plates constantly move, the plates that are stuck create great tension, and when they are finally free, a huge amount of energy is released. Shock waves move from focus in all directions, and it causes the earth to vibrate.Tectonic plates causes earthquakes when two or more plates collide with each other.Pressure builds up between plates and causes an earth quake. The Earth's surface is formed form a number of interlocking plates which are moved round by the convection of the underlying mantle (as it cools). This means that in some places the plates are being torn apart, in other places the plates are sliding past one another and in yet other places the plates are being squeezed together. These underlying plate movements provide the energy given off as earthquakes. The heat given off by the mantle is the source of energy for volcanoes which also occur near the plate margins.Earthquakes happen when the rocks breaks under pressure, rather like snapping a stick. As the plates move the rocks deform elastically (like a stick bending) and when eventually the rocks break under the stress, its snaps back to its original shape. This snap back is called elastic rebound. When the rock breaks and rebounds, its gives off energy. This energy causes the ground to shake.Friction also increases the amount of energy that is released from that earthquake, which is then affected by the speed of the movement of the tectonic plate. Shock waves move from focus in all directions, and it causes the earth to vibrate.Earthquakes are tremors or vibrations in the Earth's crust that are caused by the build up or accumulation of pressure (more correctly termed stress). This accumulation of stress is due to the movement of tectonic plates and most commonly occurs at the boundaries between differing plates that are moving in different directions. This accumulation of stress causes the rocks that make up the crust to deform elastically. This is very similar to what happens when you squash or stretch a spring and causes a form of energy to be stored in the rocks of the crust - technically described as elastic potential energy. When this stress gets to large, it exceeds the strength of the rocks in the crust and causes a brittle failure. Brittle failures are failures where fractures form through the material. This sudden brittle failure causes all of the elastic potential energy to be released at one time in the form of seismic waves, just as if a spring or elastic band that was being stretched suddenly snapped. These seismic waves cause the tremors that people feel on the surface and which can cause damage to buildings and other structures.
isotopes of a given element differ in the number of neutrons they have.
Dealers only normally put you plates on if they are transferred form another vehicle. But some will register the car for you and put the plates on. It's pretty much a given thing anymore that they do.
No, you cant that is illegal. when the number plates are given they record your car's make number and engine number under plate number.
you need to Trampoline and do gymnastics so when your diving you can flip/turn/twist. You may also want to take up ballet whether your male or female to give you elegance. When you begin diving you will be given the correct kit. Good luck :)

The difference between "regular" diving and synchronized diving is the scoring and the athletes. In "regular" diving one diver goes at a time and that one diver is scored based on that one dive. In synchronized diving, TWO people do the SAME DIVE at the SAME TIME to try and be as accurate and identical to each other as possible. The two athletes are then given ONE score for both dives based on their precision and timing.
Scuba diving, as the equipment is so expensive, and it is expensive getting to a given location, from a boat, to dive. It's the 2nd most expensive fun (behind skydiving) you'll ever have.
You get them in the underwater Sea Temple in Undella Bay but you need dive, You will also find stuff like Relic Gold, which you can sell to the rich boys father who says he is looking for something valuable in Undella Town.
"The ring of fire" is the name given to tectonic plates that meet in a circular fashion with the Pacific ocean in the middle. These plates tend to move around causing earthquakes.
No it is the opposite. The closer the plates are together the higher the capacitance. This is given by the forumua: C = [(2.2479 x 10^-13) x K x A] / d where d is the distance between the plates. Which means that C is inversely proportional to the distance between the plates.
you can often find another name given to Myanmar on a map what is it?
This is known as a divergent boundary.
found some plates in the music room they were given after playing the instrument...... cant find the square plate though!
