Boot Disk or Boot Floppy
MS Dos is the operating system used for floppy disk and CDs. MS Dos is an old program created by Microsoft.
A floppy drive in your computer and an operating system capable of reading it.
Floppy drives do not typically need drivers. Any operating system on a typical PC can interface with the floppy controller integrated into the motherboard. All modern operating systems include drivers to interface with drives connected via USB.

The best way to disable a floppy disk drive is to disable the floppy interface from the system BIOS. This should remove all traces of the floppy disk drive to the operating system. It is also easier to reverse should the disk need to be enabled again later,
You need a system floppy containing the FDISK.EXE program. Run the program after booting the computer to the floppy, then remove all of the partition data. This should have removed ALL (even hidden) data from the hard drive. You must however remember to re-partition the disk and format it before trying to install your new operating system.

Yes it is possible to change the format of a floppy disk from FAT to RAW if the operating system on the PC, which the floppy is to be formated is using but the RAW format than the flopy will have the RAW format at the end of formating the floppy
FAT (also known as FAT12).
The early operating system now is window 8....now lunched to be available soon enough
FAT or FAT32.
This is no longer a common feature for any modern operating system. Debian Etch and prior allowed starting a net install from a floppy disk, but the kernel is too large in recent releases for this to be possible.
