Depends if it is male of female. If it is a female 1-2 years it is a philly. If it is a female over the age of 2 it is a mare. If it is a male and it is not been fixed it's a stud. If it has been fixed ti is a guilding.

Foal: baby horse or pony less than weaning age of any gender
Weanling: A young horse being weaned of any gender (weaning happens sometime between the ages of 4 months and a year, most of the time about 6 months old)
