APOLLO
it got a man to the moon
Humans got to the moon using the Saturn V rocket, which launched Apollo spacecraft with astronauts in them towards the moon. Once in lunar orbit, the astronauts used the Lunar Module to descend and land on the moon's surface. This historic achievement happened during the Apollo missions in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
Moon-day
moonwalk got its name from when an astronaught was on the moon and could walk on the moon!! simples xx
Apollo was the name of all the lunar missions. The various craft that went were numbered. 6 missions went to the moon and landed on it, which were Apollo 11, 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17. Each lunar mission spacecraft consisted of two parts, a command module and a lunar module. The command module got people to the moon and orbited around it and got them back to Earth. The lunar module was the part that actually landed on the moon. The 6 lunar modules that landed on the moon were: Eagle Intrepid Antares Falcon Orion Challenger
they got them from other missions and then put them on the missions.
The moon got its name because the word moon comes from the root word mona. Mona is the Latin word for month. The moon takes about a month to travel around a month to go from full moon to full moon. The moon was just named, moom because at the time, it was the only one discovered.
Nobody. The only living things to have been on the moon are humans and some bacteria that somehow got stuck on some space probes.
