The zinc sulfide is ZnS.
magnesium sulphide
Sodium chloride oxygen and calcium
The special compound containing both nitrogen and oxygen is known as 'nitrates'.
The compound formed by magnesium and oxygen is called magnesium oxide.
Only sulphur and oxygen. You should be able to tell that from the name.
it is oxygen
The zinc sulfide is ZnS.
magnesium sulphide
I answered this question. It is indeed because Mg is a metal. Ionic compounds (those with a metal) do not get a prefix, molecular compounds (those without a metal) do.
magnesium sulphide (MgS)
These compounds are oxides.
oxygen,hydrogen,nitrogen,sulphur,etc.
it is magnesium sulphate that should answer your question.
Oxides. Like Iron Oxide (rust).
H2S Hydrogen Sulfide. Sulphur Hydroxide. There are alot of names for this compound. Simply put, they contain 2 Hydrogen atoms and 1 Oxygen. It is extremely dangerous to health and life, and is commonly found in crude oil and other hydro-carbons.
The compound name says it all - sulfur, and oxygen. The prefix "di" means "two", so there is one atom of sulfur and two of oxygen.
