Could it be Mahjong? Sounds like Shut the Box: a game in which you roll two 6-sided dice, then flip down tiles in a series from 1 to 9. Variants also include tiles numbered 1 to 12 or even a pair of rows of tiles numbered either from 1 to 9 or from 1 to 12.
A die (if someone says "dice", that is the plural).
Assuming they are fair dice that are numbered 1 to 6, the probability is 2/36 = 1/18
The probability of rolling doubles on a pair of dice is 1 in 6, or about 0.1667.
A die had 12 edges. The number of edges that dice have will depend on the number of dice!
Dice (Decir [To say], el/ella/usted, present): El dice: He says, it says Ella dice: she says Usted dice: You say (Formal, not used very often, and is fading out of Spanish culture)
If you were throwing one numbered cube (dice) with each face numbered 1 to 6, then the chance of getting a number greater than two is 4/6 (or 2/3) since there are 4 numbers greater than 2, and six numbers in total.Similarly, if you were throwing one dice, the chance of getting a number less than 2 is 1/6.To determine the probability of getting both of these outcomes on two dice (greater than 2 on one dice and less than 2 on the other) we simply multiply these two values together.2/3 x 1/6 = 2/18 = 1/9.So there is a one in nine chance of this outcome occuring.
For one throw, the answer is 4/6 = 2/3 or 66.67 %
Assuming you're talking about standard six-sided dice numbered 1-6, the least likely rolls are 2 and 12, each of which should come up 1 time in every 36 rolls on average.
