Compass Rose
The direction marker on a map called a compass rose. It was so named because the directional lines drawn from the marker were said to resemble a rose.
A direction marker on a map is typically referred to as a compass rose. It is used to indicate the cardinal directions (north, south, east, and west) and sometimes intermediate directions on a map.
Maps can be marked with pins, or with pencils, etc. Perhaps you intended to ask what is the name of a map maker, rather than a map marker. A map maker is a cartographer.
Go to world map and double click where you want your marker to be.
If you approach a red and green marker, your direction would depend on their arrangement. If the red marker is on your left and the green marker on your right, you would move to the right. Conversely, if the red marker is on your right and the green marker is on your left, you would go left. Without additional context about their positions, a specific direction cannot be determined.
