I don't think it has a real name. I think it's just called the Central Park Lake. I've lived in New York City all my life (26 years), and I've never heard it called anything besides "the lake in Central Park." Additionally, I just did about a thousand internet searches, and I couldn't find any name for it besides the Central Park Lake. Most of the other ponds/lakes in Central Park do have names, though: there's the Reservoir (at approximately 90th Street), Turtle Pond (at the base of Belvedere Castle, at approximately 84th Street...it's filled with turtles), and another pond (just called "The Pond") at the southeast corner of the park.
