It depends on the metal cation in the hydroxide.

General equation for group (I) metals) is

2MOH + H2SO4 = M2SO4 + 2H2O

And for Group(II) metals

M(OH)2 + H2SO4 = MSO4 + 2H2O

It all depends on what metal hydroxide is used. If you used sodium hydroxide, then the resulting salt would be sodium sulphate.
