IAT, Air intake temperature sensor.
Hey Ricky==I think your car has an electric speedo and therefore no cable. GoodluckJoe Thats right no speedo cable, it is electric, but there is a speed sensor on the transmission hope that helps
crankshaft? what crankshaft? I think thats the engine connector you're pulling
If you remove your MAF (Mass Air Flow) Sensor, you will see there is a resistor just behind the MAF sensor on top...thats your Air Temperature Sensor.
Bank 1 is the drivers side of the engine and sensor 1 will be the closest O2 sensor thats in the exhaust pipe where it bolts to the engine exhaust manifold.
for a 97-03 grand prix there is a front and rear o2 sensor. bank 1 sensor 2 is the sensor located on the exhaust near the catalytic converter (cat) also known as the REAR sensor... bank 1 sensor 1 is located on the back of the engine on top of the exhaust manifold or headers would be the street term. thats the FRONT sensor.
its on the transmission. You have to raise the car and look toward the front of the car from the muffler side. Now look at the transmission and you will see a wire going to ta black plug(thats the one)
ITS LOCATED AT THE BACK OF TH MOTOR ON PASSENGER SIDE. DISCONNECT PLUG. PULL PLATSIC CLIP OUT ( IT SLIDES IN TO LOCK SENSOR ) REMOVE SENSOR . THATS IT . wHEN REPLACING SENSR MAKE SURE YOU HAVE NEW O RING
to change the cam sensor on a 7.3 is very simple the sensor is located on the front of the block above the harmonic balance wheel , and is accessed easiest from underneath the vehicle. remove the wire plug in from sensor remove the bolt that secures the sensor pull the sensor out.replace with new sensor put bolt back in reattach wire plug in thats all there is to it
Cam sensor, thats about it, there aren't any other names for that sensor.
any where, thats what is sad
Thats a cleaner/ lubricant. In combination with the windshield wipers it will clean the windshield and make it clear
It gauges the revs of the crankshaft (thats the rpm you see on your speedometer)
