I suggest getting the traxxas e-maxx brushless(velineon system or something like that). Its completely water proof and so much better improved than the brushed systems. If brushed is what your looking for though, there is the regular traxxas e-maxx. Go to the website -traxxas.com- and you can get parts, accessories and even ready to run models of the very truck you want!

Is the new emaxx completely waterproof2008?
No. The majority of the electronics are sealed behind gaskets and are protected against all but a complete dunking... The batteries and the motors however are not sealed. This truck is a big step forward in improving the survivablity of the most important (and expensive) components but ultimately it is a truck and not a boat. Always after exposing any R/C vehicle to water the truck should be checked and cleaned thoroughly. WD-40 works well for this and is safe on electrical components. I am enjoying my new E-MAXX very much. =)
Why is my usb transfer rate so slow i have an emaxx IGH31 motherboard and it says that is has 4xusb 2.0 and 2xusb 2.0i tried accesing usb settings in bios and did'nt find any enhanced usb support?
This is probably the solution to your problem. Just follow the following steps: 1. Restart your computer. Upon display of EMAXX logo, press "Delete" and "F2" on the keyboard alternately (in case you do not know exactly the key to activate CMOS Setup). 2. On the CMOS Setup Utility, Go to the "Advanced Chipset Features" using the arrow down key and Press Enter to select. 3. Go to "South Bridge Configuration" then press Enter. 4. Go to "USB 2.0 Controller" then press Enter. 5. Select "Enable" option using the arrow key then press Enter. 6. Press "F10" on the keyboard, Select "Ok" to save the change you have made. 7. The system will now start. 8. Once windows is open, try to Insert a USB flash drive (or any USB mass storage device that supports USB 2.0) and see if the message comes out again. 9. In case the message appears again, look for available USB ports. (A typical system unit has 2 USB ports on the front panel and 4 USB ports at the back that are typically Hi-Speed USB Ports, hence it is much better to connect at the back if you want a high speed transfer rate especially when transferring large files) 10. If the message does not appear anymore, you've probably activated the Hi-Speed USB controller on your system already. Try to transfer data from removable device to computer (or vice versa) to check transfer rate (approximately 10 - 20 mbps depending upon the files that you are transferring). 11. You're done.
