Major
Major.
A Lieutenant was the lowest rank of an officer. Usually an officer had training and was commissioned to serve as an officer. However, in some state units, an officer was picked by an election from the other soldiers. The Lieutenant usually commanded part of a company or about 20 or 30 men. There were two levels of officer rank using the term Lieutenant. The first(lowest) was 2nd Lieutenant and the next rank was 1st Lieutenant. Then the next rank in his promotion would be Captain and then Major.
Completing Structured Self-Development (SSD) Level 1 can earn soldiers up to 80 promotion points. These points are part of the Army's promotion point system, which is used to determine eligibility for promotion to the next rank.

i think so. cuz in movies u nevr hear any1 address a first or second lieutenant This depends. Second Lieutenants and First Lieutenants are both addressed verbally as "Lieutenant". The Army, Marine Corps, and Air Force have Second Lieutenants as the lowest Commissioned Officer rank. They are then promoted to First Lieutenants. The next rank for Army, Marine Corps, and Air Force Officers is Captain. The Navy has the rank of Lieutenant but is a higher rank. Naval Officers begin as Ensign. They are promoted to Lieutenant JG (junior grade) and then to Lieutenant. The Navy Lieutenant is the equivalent of an Army Captain. The Navy also has the Captain rank, but the Navy Captain is the equivalent of an Army Colonel.
in the next year job i want is to be hr position
A Lieutenant is, through history, a rank that denotes that they are preparing for the next rank above. Hence a low-ranking officer is a Lieutenant, who is preparing to be a Captain. A Lieutenant Colonel is preparing to be a Colonel. So it follows that a Lieutenant General is preparing to be a General. Thus, it is the rank immediately preceding it.
Army Generel jashan is going to be the next Army General of canada!!!!!!!!
The ranks above Captain in the Army are: Major, Lieutenant Colonel, Colonel, Brigadier General, Major General, Lieutenant General, General, General of the Army (UK Fieldmarshal). Occasionally the American General ranks are are referred to simply by the number of stars in their insignia, e.g. 1-, 2-, 3-, 4-, or 5-star General. The ranks above Captain in the Navy are Rear Admiral (lower half) (UK = Commodore), Rear Admiral, Vice Admiral, Admiral, Fleet Admiral (UK=Admiral of the Fleet, though not used in peacetime)
The rank of Corporal and Leading Seaman are equivalent. The next level up is Sergeant (army) Petty Officer (navy). Although the American Navy turfs in a few extra pay grades under the Petty Officer rank. On the other hand the British Navy skips the rank of Petty Officer 2nd Class and goes right to Petty Officer 1st Class from Leading Seaman. Petty Officer 1st Class is equivalent to Warrant Officer in the Army. Confused?
