The number one cylinder on 1995 2.3 is the one closest to the radiator and the coil pack should be numbered but if not it is as follows front coil starting left to right, first 2 are 1 & 3 next 2 are 4 & 2 back coil starting left to right, first 2 are 2 & 4 next 2 are 3 & 1 hope this helps
