It is a Double-Acton Only (DAO) version of the PX4. There is a hammer, but it doesn't have a thumb tang (the extrusion you would use to pull the hammer back by hand). The hammer is moved back by the trigger and releases after the trigger is fully depressed. There are other differences between the Type F Storm and the Type C (like no decocking lever--sometimes thought to be the safety, but it isn't), but this is the main difference in the Type C. The Type F is a Double-Action/Single-Action, meaning it functions as a double action for the first shot then the hammer stays back and it only takes a very limited trigger pull to fire subsequent rounds whereas the Type C has the same trigger pull for every round.

Maybe. There are two version of this rifle, the PX4 and the 8045. The PX4 takes the Storm pistol magazine and the 8045 takes the Cougar 8045 magazine. The is a magazine well insert for the 8045 to accept the PX4 magazine for About $10. Almost all rifles are the 8045 rather than the PX4.
Beretta Elite Fires at 480 FPS (Feet Per Second) Beretta Storm Fires at 380 FPS. The Crosman 1377C (Amreican Classic) Fires at 600 FPS. It puts both Berettas to shame.

One can purchase a Beretta PX4 from a variety of different places. This includes a local firearms seller, a gun fair as well and in some states one can reserve them online for pickup if they do not have the PX4 in stock.
Most gun dealers will tell you yes, as I have discovered that the majority of them are under the false impression that beretta 92 series mags fit the storm series guns. They do fit and lock in place, however they don't feed properly. The storm series mags are interchangeable between the Cx4 rifle and the Px4 pistols, so long as they are the proper caliber. Just because something fits doesn't mean it's right.....after all, why would beretta make specific mags for the Px4 if the existing mags from the 92 would do the job? Don't be fooled by a dealer who sticks a 92 mag in your gun and says "see? it fits!"

Value of ANY gun is based on exact MAKE, MODEL and CONDITION. A NEW Berretta PX4 Storm retails for $490-$520.
Use Waddcutter pellets, or Target pellets. Don't use BB's for target practice they are not as accurate as pellets. BB's are okay for plinking.
Small metal plate, just forward of the trigger guard, bottom center of the gun.
