is this a trick question? of the hundreds of millenia s' i have seen, not one of them have a distributor.
well if u look at a Mazda 2007 youll see the wires are blue so if you look a the Mazda 1997 it is the same as Mazda 1996 the wire is pinky red on tht one.so the order will be 1996,1997,2007 there all sorted if this was the answer you were looking for.
it has to be the distributor cap or rotor or wires...plug wires.
Bad Distributor
Spark plug wire layout is also known as firing order. The correct firing order for the 2000 Mazda Protege 1.8L is 1-3-4-2 with a counterclockwise distributor rotation.
I have replaced the coil and distributor cap.
Follow the wires from the spark plugs and they will go to the distributor unless the engine does not have one and has a coil pack.
Not if it's a diesel. Diesels don't have spark plugs remember..
They have to be in the firing order.
check your coil, and your distributor, and ditributor cap, along with all wires and connections.
Takes the spark from the coil and distributes it to each spark plug in the firing order.
Correct firing order is 1 3 4 2 Your distributor cap is numbered 4 2 1 3 on the top in a anti-clockwise direction. Match the HT leads from the cap to the corresponding spark plug.Thats it . PW
