If the coin is as you describe but has no country name on it, it is a British Penny.

It is made from bronze, weighs 9.45 grams and is 30.81 mm in diameter.

King George V appears on the obverse and the seated figure of Britannia holding a trident and shield is on the reverse.

Except for the reverse, very similar versions of the same coin may have been issued by any one of the many Commonwealth countries, but they will have the country name on them.

Such a coin does not exist.

If it did exist, it would be a British Penny.

All 1901 British Coins featured Queen Victoria on the obverse.

George V did not become king until 1911.
