It all started with the word "negro" meaning the color black in spanish.... to justify the use of slaves the "white man" though that they were less of humans and more of animals and were put on this earth to become slaves... the "N" word was stated as meaning lesser and well stuipid thus they were called that because of them being thought as of not really humans
