A British designer reused the fabric from the old Virgin Balloon to create a clothing line. Otherwise, because the nylon used becomes very porous after being exposed to a lot of heat and UV light, it is not very recyclable.
Heir (pronouced he-air) rhymes with air.
Air itself
1 - The difference between the states. 2 - air pollution. 3 - Third World backwardness. 4 - The logic of war. 5 - great aspirations. 6 - people do not know each other.
air well. i was looking for wind but i guess air could work. lol:)
The motto of Southampton University Air Squadron is 'Fortibus Ardua Cedunt'.
reinforced seams along the length of the balloon envelop (hot air balloons)
A hot air balloon needs to carry a means of producing more hot air to keep the envelop inflated and lifting in flight. Otherwise, as the initial hot air cools, so the balloon will descend to the ground.
Neither. Pneumatic equipment uses air, under pressure, to convey mechanical energy from one place to the other. Hydraulic equipment uses water for the same reason. A hot-air balloon uses less dense hot air to fill it's balloon. Due to gravity the more dense cold air sinks down and pushes the hot air filled balloon up. The burner uses a mechanical arm with a spring (with a string and handle attached) to control the amount flame.
A Hot Air balloon.
A weather balloon filled with hydrogen is also lighter than air, and will rise to great heights.
To increase enthalpy.the burner uses flames to heat the air so the balloon will rise
By the hot air that is created from a burner under the envelop (baloon).
As the flame burns it heats the air around it making the air less dense than the cooler air above, the warm air particles rise to the top of the balloon and the balloon rises with the air. Essentially a hot air balloon uses a convection current to stay in the air.
The pilot of a hot air balloon uses the burners to move in different directions. Some of the air is moving east, while some of the air is moving west. The pilot of the balloon will either deflate or inflate the balloon to catch the wind in a particular direction.
A hot air balloon is normally powered with propane. Other than that, it is just ordinary air used inside the balloon.
yes but it is a long and difficult process. I could use a lot of fancy terms but bottom line is you have to cool the air around the balloon but it is energy wasting
because the air inside the balloon is heavier than the air outside in the other layers of the atmosphere
