I had my truck fixed recently [ blown head gasket ] and the engine still had a loud ticking going on, I was stunned because it was doing that before he repaired it ,it did not tick till the head gasket went. iasked him what was causing this to occur,and he mentioned that it was probably the part that replaced the spot where the distributer went,being that these engines do not have distributers anymore. so what is the name of that part ? 1999 Ford - 150 6 cly, 2 wheel drive
