If you're under 12, you can only ride an atv with under 70 cc. Under 16, can't ride anything over 90cc
No, you do not need a driver license to drive an ATV. However, restrictions apply to ATV drivers under the age of 16 in most states,
you lose driving privileges for 6 months (even if no car is involved) minimum fine 500.00 disorderly person record if you use a false id 300.00 fine
Technically speaking, yes, you can drive a fourwheeler while being under the age of 16, but, check further with your state law's and regulations on driving ATV's. Most manufacturers discourage persons under the age of 16 from driving ATVs, but it is still done. I've been riding full size fourwheelers since I was 7 years old.
I think the minimum driving age should be 14 for ATVs (All-Terrain Vehicle.) I believe that that would be convenient because 14 year-olds already drive ATVs. And it would only be appropriate if the quad (ATV) was on private property that they had PERMISSION!!!
