The Golden Age, or Gild/ Age (due to the Industrial Revolution - between the first TUC 1868 and The Great War WW1 - 1914). This was a period of wealth creation and innovation, with trade and commerce borne by The Factory System. This was a time of adventure and pioneers. This was also an era of great hardship and exploitation. As for the few and fortunate, they never had it so good.
