I'm not sure what the temperature is but i do know that its orbit isn't far behind earth so there isn't much of a difference.
Edit : Neptune is along way from Earth and the temperature is much lower.
The average temperature at the surface is about minus 220 degrees Celsius.

Neptune.
You are gravely mistaken. Neptune is not a hot planet and it never has been. Neptune is so far from the sun that the planet and its atmosphere are absolutely freezing. The average temperature of Neptune is −218 °C (55.1 K).
The planet Neptune's south pole is the current region facing toward the sun. As such it is the warmest part of Neptune featuring temperatures about ten degrees warmer than the rest of the planet whose average temperature is -200 Celsius.
Technically speaking, Neptune is the planet with the lowest surface temperature; however, Neptune does not have a solid surface.
There are a variety of interesting facts about the planet Neptune. There are 14 moons of Neptune, and the surface temperature is about -201 degrees Celsius.
Neptune.
Neptune is the coldest planet but not by much. Neptunes surface temperature is 72K whereas Uranus is 76K.

Neptune has a temperature range is -223° C to -220° C.

neptune is quite a cold planet and has an average temperature of -200 something but still its warmer than uranus...
Neptune is farthest from the SunUranus is the coldest planet in our solar system
Uranus is the coldest planet. Neptune is the furthest from the Sun, but it has a much hotter core temperature than Uranus; Neptune's core is at around 7000 °C. Uranus's core's temperature is at around 4737 °C.

Neptune and Uranus have similar average temperatures, at -200C and -195C, respectively.
Because the temperature on Neptune is so extreme, it is unlikely to be able to support life. The temperature on the planet ranges from -270 to -380 degrees.
