how do I set the timing on a ford f700 truck 370-4
front brakes leak fluld on1977 f700 dump truck
Between 9000-10000 lbs. curb weight, # depending on std/crew cab, engine and wheel base. GVW rating usually at 26,000lbs. (thats truck, cargo, occupants)
The vehicle in question was a 1993 Ford F700 box truck, rented from Ryder (System, Inc.).
It operates a cable that goes to both rear brakes and pulls them on.
It is called a Master Cylinder. Click the link I am posting.
I own one with a 5 yard dump box on it. I weigh in at 11060lbs empty.
All things dependent, you'd probably be looking at 13,000 to 16,000 lbs. If you need a precise empty weight, my suggestion would be to scale out empty at your nearest truck stop.
Depends on which motor you have in it. The F700 was available with a number of petrol and diesel motors to choose from.
If it's licenced as a vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of under 26,000 lbs., and it's kept under that weight, than no.
