The normal boiling point (also called the atmospheric boiling point or the atmospheric pressure boiling point) of a liquid is the special case in which the vapor pressure of the liquid equals the defined atmospheric pressure at sea level, atmosphere
The boiling point and normal boiling point are related concepts, but they have specific differences. Boiling Point: The boiling point of a substance is the temperature at which the vapor pressure of the liquid equals the atmospheric pressure, causing the liquid to change into a gas or vapor. At the boiling point, bubbles of vapor form within the liquid and rise to the surface, resulting in a continuous phase change from liquid to gas. Different substances have different boiling points, which can be influenced by factors such as atmospheric pressure and the strength of intermolecular forces within the liquid. Normal Boiling Point: The normal boiling point of a substance is the temperature at which it boils when the atmospheric pressure is at the standard pressure of 1 atmosphere (atm), which is equivalent to 101.325 kilopascals (kPa) or 760 millimeters of mercury (mmHg). This standard pressure is typically found at sea level.
At STP it is 1 bar
This occurs within the respiratory system. During inpiration, the intercostal muscles contract, the diaphragm descends, and the rib cage rises. The thoracic cavity volume increases, stretching the lungs, and the intrapulmonary volume increases. This causes the intrapulmonary pressure to drop. Air flows into the lungs until the intrapulmonary pressure equals the atmospheric pressure. During expiration the intercostal muscles relax, the diaphragm rises, and the rib cage descends. The thoracic cavity volume decreases, causing the the lungs to recoil, and the intrapulmonary volume decreases. This causes the intrapulmonary pressure to rise, and the air flows out of the lungs until the intrapulmonary pressure equals the atmospheric pressure.
(736-92)= 644 mmHG
The temperature at which the vapor pressure of the liquid equals the atmospheric pressure is called THE BOILING POINT.
Its vapor pressure equals atmospheric pressure.
its boiling
The boiling point of the liquid.
its boiling
The Liquid will turn into gas. The boiling point corresponds to the temperature at which the vapor pressure of the liquid equals the atmospheric pressure. If the liquid is open to the atmosphere (that is, not in a sealed vessel), it is not possible to sustain a pressure greater than the atmospheric pressure, because the vapor will simply expand until its pressure equals that of the atmosphere.

As atmospheric pressure increase so does the boiling pont, when atmos. pressure decreases so does boiling point. A liquid boils when its vapor pressure equals atmospheric pressure.

Boost pressure is the amount of pressure above normal atmospheric pressure the turbo/supercharger is producing. Can be expressed in PSI (US used) or BAR (mainly outside the US). BAR = (boost pressure) * 14.7 (atmospheric pressure) / 14.7 (atmospheric pressure), an example 8psi of boost equals: 14.7+8/14.7 = 1.54bar
68 millibars = 2.008 inches of mercury.
