The pressure wave, created by systole is called a pulse
A sound wave with high sound pressure (amplitude) or high sound particle displacement (amplitude) is a sound wave that has a high loudness.

In blood pressure nomenclature, where blood pressure is denoted xxx/yy, "xxx" is called the systolic blood pressure, whereas "yy" is called the diastolic blood pressure. A normal average blood pressure is 120/80, across the population. Yours may be slightly higher or lower than this average.
"Blood pressure" is the pressure exerted by the blood against the walls of the arteries, maintained by the contraction of the left ventricle, the resistance of the arterioles and capillaries, the elasticity of the arterial walls, and by the viscosity and volume of the blood.
systolic, its the number on top, that's why that number is larger

There is the blood pressure cuff which wraps around the arm and the pressure guage I believe is called a "sphygmomanometer"
It is called the systolic blood pressure and is given by the higher of the two numbers on your blood pressure reading. eg, if your blood pressure is 120/80, the systolic pressure is 120mmHg. The actual pressure follows a wave-form. As the ventricle contracts and squeeze blood into the arteries the pressure rises (from the lower diastolic level) and as contraction continues the pressure peaks and then drops back as the contraction finishes and the heart begins to relax. So to be specific the pressure will depend upon what phase of contraction one is referring to. However generally speaking it is the peak, as explained above, that is referred to.
Palpated is when you can feel the pulse return. this is recorded as 120 palp, and only indicates the systolic pressure. Auscultating is when you can hear the systolic pressure wave return and diastolic is when you can no longer hear a pressure wave. Recorded as 120/80
Blood pressure is is sometimes called arterial blood pressure. It is caused by circulating blood on the walls of arteries. When the heart beats, it does not have a constant pressure. It rests slightly in between beats. There is a maximum called systolic and a minimum called diastolic. The pressure is measured in the upper arm at the brachial artery. The BP is expressed in systolic pressure over diastolic pressure in millimeters of mercury (mmHg) and normal blood pressure for an adult is 120/80.
