What is the price of a Chevy Custom Deluxe 1983 pickup?

I got my 83 chevy custom deluxe for $800.00 and almost put in a $1,000.00....so if the truck has the same interier and stereo and a couple new parts on the motor or even if it has a nice paint job but still origional motor it should be from $800.00-$1,000.00 because you will have to put more parts on the engine that isnt costly but will take time and may have to re-build or take apart and clean the engine if the other owners didnt take care of it...the old owners of my 83 chevy didnt take real good car of it and it was sittin in the shop the day after we bought it for 7 months because the engine needed to be cleaned badly....and they had to put manafolds on instead of headers because if its not a 1957 or older it cant be legilized with headers...you will also wanna get a new dash board because itll be cracking and split really bad...and if u take a really good look at the truck the is a 75% chance it will have some body damage but not major damage..you may need new window roller handles because the pins that hold the handles break after a long time and you might need to take the door panels off and make sure your door lock stick.that comes out of the panel inside the door isnt broken becuase after a long time the plastic that holds the metal stick will be cracking....

The point im trying to make is now days we have nicer chevys but some guys like old chevys if you r gonna take really good care of it becuase after you fix it all up if you dont take car of it something will break..make sure you let the truck warm up to atleast 150° or the truck will die while driving ....so if you do buy the chevy make sure way before you put the money in the old owners hand you test drive in look for body damage when you drive it see if the gas gauge and speed odemeter bounces..if they bounce u have to take them apart and lube them...see if the chevy has manafolds or headers just look at everything about ten times and think about how much money you think you will have to put in it to get it to run better and everything works and looks nice...now I talked the old owner of my 83 chevy to $500.00 but then I noticed he didnt have a good paying job and he had 3 kids and a wife to support and all he wanted was $800.00 before I talked him down but because he had 3 kids and a wife and not so good paying job I gave him wat he wanted and not what I talked him down to..
