that Really sounds like the catylyst in your catalic converter is pretty much shot...gone.. which could cause your car to catch on fire. if the catylyst is just ruined it'll break down and shoot itself into the muffler, get really hot, and eventually catch fire.
Most likely you did not align properly the mark, it causes the engine to have wrong timing as result the engine knocks.
Timing is probably off.
Have it looked at by a mechanic.
Try some ny-quil. Usually knocks me out no problem.
if this vehicle has a standard gearbox, i would have the clutch looked at.other problem could be water pump is about to fail
A good laptop bag will protect the laptop against those small accidental knocks that you just can't prevent, they do have some protection. Bigger knocks could be a problem though.
What is the engine? Year? If 2.3 L and the engine knocks due to low grade fuel 87 or 89 octane, then just back off the timing. Hope this helps. This engine should run on 87 octane with no problem. If not check the advance, and pick up in the dist.
Have vehicle scanned to determine problem, possible severe misfire.
you shouldn't drive a 95 neon
If your engine knocks than that can be a really bad thing, have you recently ran your truck without oil?
You may have a cracked flex plate.
